Joseph S. Zaorski Jr.

Joseph S. Zaorski Jr., 52, of Southington, died unexpectedly on Sunday, May 11, 2008, he was the husband of 20 years of Louise (Foley) Zaorski.

Born in Meriden, Oct. 19, 1955, he was the son of Joseph S. and Angeline (Carino) Zaorski Sr., of Meriden. He was the plant manager at Keeney Manufacturing Company in Newington for over 15 years. He was a parishioner of St. Dominic Church where he was a member of their school board for three years. He loved to cook and spend time with his daughter, Alyssa. He also taught his daughter to play golf and was her "study buddy." He was an avid golfer and a member of Hawk's Landing Country Club, he also enjoyed fishing with his father-in-law.

Besides his wife and parents, he is survived by a daughter, Alyssa  Zaorski, of Southington; two sisters, Sharon Gonska and her husband, Stanley, of Southington, and Elise Zaorski, of Meriden; two aunts, Theresa Caron and Mary Misiorski; three nieces, Heather, Kari and Kristi; a nephew, Brent; his mother and father-in-law, Paul and Marie Foley; and several cousins who were like  siblings to him. He was predeceased by a brother, Marcel Zaorski.

Services were held on May 15 at St. Dominic Church, Southington. Burial was in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Meriden. DellaVecchia Funeral Home, Southington, was in charge of arrangements.
