Genevieve E. "Ginger" Wilson

Genevieve E. "Ginger" Wilson, 72, of Carter Lane, Plantsville, died Monday, May 5, 2008 at Southington Care Center.

Born March 6, 1936, in Hartford, to the late Dean and Ethel (Buckingham) Wilson, she had lived in Southington for the past 12 years. She was retired from Allied Control, and later, Snap Tite in Ohio.

She leaves behind her brother and sister-in-law, Thomas K. and Mary Jane Wilson of New York; a niece, Kim Coppola and her husband, Dave, of Southington; two nephews, Richard Wilson, of New York, and Thomas P. Wilson, of Nebraska; three great-nieces; two great-nephews; and many aunts and uncles, including her special aunt, Peggy Robinson, of Woodbury.

Services were held May 8 at Plantsville Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family, in South End Cemetery.
