Hundreds of people turned out to the Wood-n-Tap restaurant in Southington July 22 for Tip-A-Rock Cats Player night, raising $768 each for the Rock Cats Foundation and The Hospital of Central Connecticut’s George Bray Cancer Center. Rocky, the Rock Cats' mascot, and several Rock Cats players from the local Double A Minnesota Twins affiliate, met guests and signed autographs. With Rocky are John and Kathie Yuskis, of Kensington, and their granddaughter, Lauren Yuskis, 2, of Southington.
